Well those are iTouch's. I know that the update has worked for most people, but I also know that a lot of people had the same problem I have so I'd be careful if anyone else on here was planning on updating.

I don't know anything about jailbreaking, but from what I came across last night, yeah I think they've already jailbroken iOS 4.0.
Also, just got back from the Apple Store....They had to format my phone...Lost all my contacts, photos, apps, memories. I met one of my favorite bands and took photos with them and now the pictures are gone (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Oh well, guess it's better than having to buy a whole new phone. A lot of people at the Store were having the same problem though. |

Or have a photobucket app to upload to. Beats me if Apple has one, but the Android has a pretty simple one.
I guess the real shame for iPhone/iPod Touch is the complete lack of flash media. That's pretty much a deal breaker for me these days. |

there was an app for the iPhone/iTouch that allowed flash to be run at one point. i think it was pulled from the app store. it basically did a realtime conversion from flash to whatever the hell it is that iOS supported.

Heh, I meant flash media as in flash memory, MicroSD, M2, etc..... Though Apple's lack of Flash is disappointing. This post has been edited by fireboy: 23 Jun 2010, 06:07 PM |

Thumbs up for OS4, seems so much faster. Looking forward to all my apps updating to take advantage of the multitasking API's...

I don't tend to find the multitasking too handy really, sure its cool to have it just incase, but most games are just 2 minute pick up and play games anyway.
Anybody see Guitar Hero and Tony Hawks 2 on iPhone? they work real well, shame that GH is £1.79 and you only get SIX songs. Been eyeing up Pro Evo 2010 as well maybe it's like the old good Pro Evo games, but at £6 its way too much. I also see they did a port of Prince Of Persia: Warrior Within ... which is really impressive yet really pointless, because they skipped Sands Of Time completely, now if that had been released instead of Warrior Within, i would have bought it! I have to admit, the Droid X looks nice, but a lot of my friends have the regular Droid and they suuuuuuuck Droids are pretty badass. They used to be like THE phone (other than iPhone). they're quick, run android, and most new 3D games pretty damn well. I'd love it if Sprint picked up the new Droid. |

The Droid X is going to be one KILLER phone. Also, the new Android OS coming this summer/fall (codenamed Froyo) is looking absolutely amazing.
I love that you can set your phone up to be a WiFi hotspot for your laptop or anything else that uses wireless. That is such a wonderful idea. I also like that with the new Froyo OS, you can actually share your music on your home PC (via iTunes or WMP) to your phone, so you have access to ALL of your music on your phone anywhere where you get signal. It's kind of long, but the Google Keynote talks a lot about the new Froyo OS if you want to check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IY3U2GXhz44 |

Yeah the new OS should be awesome! Unfortunately samsung is so slow to update their phones; I think I'll probably have another phone by then. My wife gets an upgrade in February, so I'm giving her my Moment and picking up whatever's new and hopefully with Froyo (or better). I just got this phone too and I'm already waiting for the next best thing.....smartphone tech is addicting.
