I currently have a British friend visiting my grandma, and staying with me at my house. He's old and has no tongue due to him having mouth cancer, but he's really a cool guy.

I tell you this because he was on Deal or No Deal in the UK and won 18,000 pounds. He also used to own two pubs, one called the Blue Peter and one called the Cuckoo Bush Inn.

Anybody catch that Deal or No Deal episode or have heard of those pubs?

Typical yank response to a Brit in their country, two pubs in the entire country and you expect a handful to know them. When I was in USA the amount of tools that asked about the royal family was ridiculous and if it wasnt that they were questioning why I didnt take like Hugh Grant.

I was in Ohio though, and they are damn backward there in dungarees and rocking chairs.

Pink, did I ever say I assume you guys know every pub? I just know that England and Scotland together are smaller than California where I live, and I thought maybe one of you guys might have heard of the pubs.

And tomsta, is Noel the Deal host over there?

Well no shit pink, but there could still be a chance you might have heard of it.

And tomsta, I'm not sure, he and my family are out right now, so I'll have to ask when he gets back. The host for Deal or No Deal over here is a 'comedian' named Howie Mandel. He's a germaphobe and also a winkie.

Pubs across the country have the same names, you would need to say where these pubs are for anyone to know.

It may have helped if you narrowed down the search to a city, town or village. There is a good chance a few pubs exist with the same name so even if someone here knew of it by name it does not necessarily mean it is the same one.

Why don't you try doing a bit of research on Google maps, I would think that would be more productive than asking here... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Well Ted, and pink, it was kind of just a generic 'yes or no' question. I wasn't looking for someone who knew the pubs like the back of their hand. And the Cuckoo Bush Inn is the only pub with that name in the world.
