so this has been big news all week, Russell Brand has been killed off by this (not that i care cos he isn't funny at all) and Jonathan Ross has sorta got off lightly in comparison but he was more responsible for it. opinions? |

Yes, the two of them were out of order. But the upper class toffs that run the beeb and the entire British media need to lighten up, and realise that this was meant as a joke. Albeit a rather cruel one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I like Jonathon Ross. His Friday Night with... show is one of the only laugh out loud shows on TV at the moment, IMO anyway. If anyone has ever seen that show you would know that he regularly takes the the piss out of his guests. sometimes even insulting them. This lastest thing was kind of in bad taste, and he kinda deserves his suspension. But i'll bet you any money when he makes it back to the TV screens he'll be taking the piss out of the whole situation. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Russel Brand on the other hand I couldn't care less about. The sooner he dissappears from our screens the better! The scruffy looking, smackhead unfunny bar steward deserves any kind of reprimand he gets. Apparantly he's on his way to America to inflict his "comedy" on you poor Yankee bastards. He'll upset a few conservatives while he's over there too. You watch this space. Just listened to it, I never realised Ross intigated all this. I am really disgusted that he has allowed brand and the radio 2 controller fall on their swords while he hasn't resigned aswell.

I listened to the whole podcast on my zune today. They stopped hosting the podcast a few days ago on the BBC website. I had to download it off a torrent, Russell Brands last 3 shows were removed (Think it was for the whole month for some unknown reason). It was Jonathan Ross's fault, as when Russell Brand was on the phone he shouted that Russell had slept with Andrew Sachs (Manuel) grandaughter. It then all started from there. Really that part of the recording should have been edited out, by the person that's responsible for editing on BBC Radio 2. As the show wasn't live and was pre-recorded (It told me that on the pod cast). I do think Russell Brand was ready to leave Radio 2 anyway, and wanted to go out in a blaze of glory.
